NO Trainspotting/Shallow Grave?

If you read the messages received on this blog you will have noticed a message left by a person called 'Dave' who left a message;

Jay,

I am afraid that the Channel 4 titles have been cancelled. Suspicious about lack of art work to date I emailed Channel 4 and this was the response:

Dear Dave,

Thank you for contacting Channel 4 Viewer Enquiries regarding TRAINSPOTTING and SHALLOW GRAVE.

Unfortunately, these particular films have not been released through Channel
4 DVD or any other distributor in HD format, and we have no plans at present to do so.

We are sorry to have to disappoint you on this occasion and thank you again for taking the time to contact us here at Channel 4 and for your interest in our programming.

Thanks to Dave for the message, though it doesn't explain why roughly 10 retailers in the UK still list both titles for release only 3 weeks before both are due and why they did in the first place?
So for now the titles will remain in the upcoming list basically until release date and we know one way or the other, it certainly isn't looking too good now though for these titles.
